Manav Sthali School, R Block, New Rajendra Nagar, New Delhi organised its much-anticipated Annual Inter-School Sports Fest, Sportify II, on 26th September 2024, with a grand opening ceremony that brought together more than 50 top schools from Delhi and Gurgaon.
The event kicked off with the Lamp Lighting, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge, followed by the Flag Hoisting and the ceremonial Lighting of the Torch. Adding to the grandeur, the fest was inaugurated with a spectacular drone show, setting the tone for the thrilling competitions ahead.
It was under the able guidance and support of Director and Founder Principal, Mrs. Mamta V. Bhatnagar, that we could successfully host an event as grand as this.
The festivities continued with a vibrant Fusion Dance performance, celebrating the cultural diversity and energy of the students. Chief Guests, Mr. Pawan Kumar Yadav, Supervisor of Physical Education (Zone 28) and State Awardee, Directorate of Education and Mr Ajay Kumar, Principal SBV plot no 6, Convener Sports Zone28 District Central delivered an inspiring address.
Principal, Manav Sthali School, Ms. Dipti Bhatnagar, motivated all the participants to “exhibit true sportsmanship spirit by walking out of the game with your head high, whether you win or loose. And don’t forget to enjoy the game”.
This event was possible only due to the commendable leadership and guidance of Mrs. Dipti A. Bhatnagar, Principal, who has always had the vision of empowering the youth and developing their critical skills, not only for Sports but also as a successful and respectful human being.
Sportify II featured competitions in :
Basketball, Skating, Table Tennis, Shooting, Golf, and Carrom.
Reflecting Manav Sthali School’s commitment to holistic development, the event focuses on instilling values of teamwork, perseverance, and resilience.
The Sports Fest concluded on 7th October 2024, with the Prize Distribution Ceremony, the most enjoyable and thrilling moment for the young sports enthusiasts, as we celebrated their achievements. On the Closing Ceremony, the awards were given to the Sports Players by our Chief Guest, Mr. Manjit Singh Dua, a distinguished Indian former Table Tennis Player and the recipient of the prestigious Arjuna Award. The Winners, Runners Up and Second Runners Up were lauded with Trophies, Certificates, Medals and various other prizes, in all the Sports. The teacher mentors were also awarded and appreciated for their guidance and support.

Officials were called from the Federation for respective sports, to regulate the events and give a fair judgement.
Sportify’24 was clearly an incredible exhibit of fair play, teamwork, resilience, perseverance and great will power thus encouraging the students to embrace a healthy living. This strengthened the theme of Manifestations’24 and the ideology of Holistic Well Being.
The event concluded with a Vote of thanks, marking the end of a memorable celebration of knowledge and school spirit.
