Annual Inter School LITERARY–HUMANITIES FEST at Manav Sthali School

Manav Sthali School, New Rajendra Nagar, hosted Perceptions 2025, a one-day Inter-school literary fest under the umbrella of Manifestations’ 2025, on September 3rd, 2025. This year’s theme, inspired by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), emphasized the role of literature and humanities in fostering awareness, empathy and responsibility towards building a sustainable and inclusive future.

The fest brought together more than 20 participating schools and began with a Lamp Lighting Ceremony, marking the start of a vibrant celebration of language, literature and creative expression. Students competed in diverse events, each reflecting the spirit of the SDGs through dialogue, performance and intellectual engagement.

Highlights of the competitions included:
Character Enactment (German) wherein Students brought to life personalities from German culture, judged by Ms. Anubha Vijh, TGT (German), DPS Greater Noida.
In Character Enactment (French), the performances were inspired by French heritage and judged by Dr. Ajith Kanna, Professor, JNU.

The Sanskrit Shlokochcharan that showcased traditional wisdom, was judged by Dr. Mohini Arya, Associate Professor, DU. The Hindi Speech judged by Dr. Savita Chaddha, Hindi Scholar, focused on contemporary issues with depth and clarity.

TED Talk encouraged original perspectives and was judged by Ms. Aarushi Singh, PhD Scholar, IP University.

The Special Highlight of the Day was the Harry Potter Quiz – A fun and innovative battle of wit and knowledge where participants dressed up as beloved Harry Potter characters. The quiz turned into a spectacular crowd favourite, with Manav Sthali School winning the contest, Bhatnagar International School, Paschim Vihar securing the second place and Springdales, Pusa Road taking the third one.

The winners of all the events were appreciated and rewarded for their creativity and insights, with trophies, certificates and medals in the Award Presentation Ceremony that followed.
Sharing her reflections, Principal, Mrs. Dipti A. Bhatnagar, remarked:
“Literature and Humanities give our students the power to imagine new worlds while reflecting deeply on the one we live in. By connecting these disciplines with the Sustainable Development Goals, we are helping our children see that their creativity, voices and ideas can contribute meaningfully to global change. Perceptions 2025 has been a true celebration of knowledge, imagination and responsibility.”
The event was expertly coordinated by Ms. Neetu Kohli, Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, Ms. Sheetal and Ms. Prerna, supported by Ms. Mani, Ms. Shikha Arora, Ms. Subrata, Ms. Manjari, Ms. Ravinder, Ms. Neela, Mr. Amitabh, Ms. Jasneet, Ms. Tanya, Ms Aarushi, Ms. Navdha, Ms. Varnika, Ms Mansi, Ms. Tapasya and Ms. Pooja.

While Mr Ranjeet managed the event branding for Manifestations’25, Ms. Shobhna the PR Officer coordinated with the guests. The student council team guided by Ms. Mukta Airi, Ms. Madhu Kakkar and Ms. Sonia Wahi ensured proper support to all the events. Special acknowledgment was given to the photography team comprising of Mr. Vikas, Mr. Dharmendra and Ms. Tanya Sagar. The parking arrangements were well taken care of by Mr. Harish, Mr. Tilak Raj, Mr. Naveen, Mr. Pankaj Gugnani and Mr. Amitabh throughout Manifestations.

The fest concluded with a Vote of Thanks, marking the end of a memorable celebration of literature, creativity and holistic learning. Perceptions 2025 left an enduring impression, inspiring students to continue their engagement with literature and the SDGs in innovative ways.
