Mera Yuva Bharat, Chandrapur, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, organized a workshop on flagship schemes for students of Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering, Research & Technology, Chandrapur. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and NSS arranged the event. Sushil Bhad, District Youth Officer, Mera Yuva Bharat, Chandrapur, Omkar Thakre, Nayab Tehsildar, Karuna Shinde, Field Officer, Agriculture Department, Dr. R.K. Krishna, Head of Department, Electronics and Communication, and Nazir Qureshi were prominently present for the event.
Sushil Bhad, during his introductory remarks, expressed his gratitude to Dr. Anil Chitade, Principal, for his support in organizing the workshop for the budding engineers. He said that knowledge of flagship schemes by the Indian Government will help the youth in building their careers, equip them with relevant industry skills, and make them employable. He also urged the students to register on the “My Bharat” portal and participate in the Viksit Bharat Quiz. Dr. R.K. Krishna said that it is essential for the students to know these schemes so that they don’t miss out on support that could change their educational or career trajectory. Omkar Thakre, Karuna Shinde, and Sachin Ramteke interacted with the students and discussed Government schemes. They emphasized the significance of various schemes, detailing who is eligible to apply, the application process, the required documentation, and the advantages associated with these schemes. Dr. Anjum Qureshi was the coordinator was conducted the program. Tushar Meshram, Samyak Hiradeve, Kritika Joge, and Gayatri Potdukhe were the student coordinators and worked for the success of the program. The program was organized under the guidance of Vinod Dattatry, President of SPMS, Rajiv Welankiwar, and Dr. Anil Chitade, Principal of the college. The students and staff of Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Data Science Engineering were present for the event.
