Manav Sthali School, in collaboration with the Department of Legal Studies and the MSS Bar Association, successfully concluded the
Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar Memorial 3rd Inter-School Moot Court Competition on Saturday, the 5th of October under Manifestations– the Annual Fest’2024. Under the nurturing guidance of Director and Founder Principal Mrs. Mamta V. Bhatnagar, who is the driving force behind our school’s commitment to holistic education, the event witnessed participation from 18 schools across the region, providing students with a unique platform to immerse themselves in the world of law and gain firsthand experience of the legal profession.
The day commenced with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, followed by a tribute to Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar, the esteemed Founder Chairman of Manav Sthali School, in whose memory the event is held. A heartfelt expression of Gratitude was extended to Mrs. Mamta V. Bhatnagar, the Director and Founder Principal of the school.
Shri. Balbir Singh, Former Additional Solicitor General of India, Prof. Anand Prakash Mishra and Director of Admissions and Vice Dean at Jindal Global Law School honoured the event as
Chief Guests.

Mr. Mohit Jolly, Advocate High Court, joined as the Guest of Honour.
A presentation on the school’s many achievements highlighted its commitment to academic and extracurricular excellence. This was followed by a Patriotic Song, thus setting a respectful and apt atmosphere for the event.
The Final Round of Moot Court Competition saw participants present their legal arguments before a panel of esteemed Judges. It was an intense session wherein students demonstrated their critical thinking, legal knowledge, and debating skills. Following the final round, the audience were delighted with a Musical Presentation, showcasing the diverse talents of the students of Manav Sthali School.
Prominent lawyers from the Delhi High Court and Supreme Court, who served as judges, offered the students invaluable insights and feedback throughout the competition.
This year’s moot court competition was designed to create a stimulating and educational environment, providing students with the chance to explore the legal field in depth. The event allowed participants to evaluate their own strengths and interests in law, helping them decide whether a career in the legal profession is their calling. Those aspiring to enter the field gained a deeper understanding of the preparation and commitment required to excel.
Mrs. Mamta V. Bhatnagar, the visionary Director and Founder Principal of Manav Sthali School, expressed her pride in the event’s success. “It is truly heartening to see young minds engaging so passionately in legal discourse. Competitions like these not only hone analytical skills but also nurture the spirit of healthy debate and inquiry, which is essential in every walk of life,” she said.
Moot Court was executed successfully with the relentless support and encouragement of Principal, Mrs. Dipti A. Bhatnagar, who extended her heartfelt thanks to all the dignitaries and the participating schools for making this 3rd Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar Memorial Moot Court a huge success. She thanked the legal professionals and educators who participated, stating, “We feel honoured to have such distinguished guests ,sharing their knowledge and experiences with the next generation.”
Advocate Shikha Bhardwaj, the Head of the Legal Studies Department at Manav Sthali conducted the Moot Court Competition in coordination with the teacher incharges Ms. Anjali Bhutani and Ms. Pooja Mendiratta along with a dedicated team of teachers, who ensured successful execution of the event.
A special acknowledgment was given to the Technical Team, comprising Ms. Anita Ratt, Ms. Anjali Gulati, and Ms. Abha, whose hard work behind the scenes ensured the smooth execution of the event. Their creative efforts enhanced the overall experience for participants and attendees, making the event visually engaging and seamless.

Our Honourable Chief Guests Shri Balbir Singh and Professor Anand Prakash Mishra congratulated the host school and the participating schools for an engaging Moot Court while sharing their wisdom with our legal studies students.
This was followed by the Presentation of Mementos to the Chief Guests, Final and Prelim Round Judges and a special recognition of the Student Organizing Committee (MSS Bar Council), who played an essential role in ensuring the event’s success.
The Results Announcement and Award Presentation saw the day’s winners celebrating their outstanding performances. The Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar Memorial Moot Court Competition continues to be a beacon of excellence, fostering the next generation of legal professionals by providing them with an enriching, hands-on experience that will serve them well in their future endeavours.
