Manav Sthali School, proudly hosted the 19th edition of the much-anticipated Comonomics Carnival on October 3, 2024. This annual event, which focuses on fostering innovation and entrepreneurial spirit among students, has evolved into one of the school’s marquee platforms for showcasing creativity and business acumen. The event, held under the inspiring theme of Manifestations, highlighted the vision of Mrs. Mamta V. Bhatnagar, Director and Founder of Manav Sthali School. 23 prominent & reputed schools from Delhi & NCR participated in the event.
Mr. Sameep Shastri, Vice Chairman, BRICS CCI and grandson of former Prime Minister of India -Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri was the Chief Guest for the day.

The carnival began with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony and a heartfelt Ganesh Vandana, setting the tone for a day of intellectual exchange and spirited competition.
This year’s carnival aligned closely with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting a deeper understanding of sustainability and responsible business practices.
The event was structured around a variety of competitions designed to challenge the ingenuity and skills of the participants. Some of the notable events included:
• Eunoia (Panel Discussion), where students debated key business trends and strategies in light of global challenges judged by Mr. Sudhir Saluja, Editor, Sanidhya Times
• Ad-wise, a competition where teams showcased their ability to craft impactful advertisements judged by Ms. Gunjann Taneja, IIT Madras, Online Curriculum Designing and Training & Mr. Sameer Kumar, Senior Creative Director, FCB Global
• Cinematic Curls (Movie Making), where creativity in storytelling took center stage, reflecting students’ understanding of media and communication judged by Ms. Tanya Sagar & Ms. Abha Narula.

Students were encouraged to think beyond profit and consider the wider implications of their entrepreneurial ideas on society and the environment. Adding depth to the event were esteemed judges from diverse professional backgrounds, whose insightful feedback provided valuable lessons for participants.
A pivotal moment of the day was the address by the Chief Guest, Mr. Sameep Shastri, whose words left a lasting impression on the audience. Mr. Shastri emphasized the importance of perseverance, dedication, and integrity in achieving success, encouraging students to strive for excellence while remaining mindful of their social responsibilities.
As the carnival drew to a close, the excitement culminated in a vibrant Award Ceremony, celebrating the most outstanding participants. The sense of pride was palpable as winners took the stage, cheered on by their peers and mentors, marking a fitting end to an eventful day.
Principal Mrs. Dipti A. Bhatnagar applauded the efforts of all participants, noting the significant role of events like the Comonomics Carnival in shaping future leaders. She also expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the organizing team, led by Mrs. Mukta Airi and Ms. Sonika, whose hard work and dedication ensured the event’s success.
The Refreshment Team, comprising Ms. Ravinder, Ms. Shalu Sethi, Ms. Anu Duggal, Ms. Kavita, Ms. Vandana Sharma, and Ms. Poonam Sareen, played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of refreshments throughout the day.
By blending innovation, creativity, and a focus on global sustainability goals, the 19th Comonomics Carnival has once again reinforced Manav Sthali School’s commitment to holistic education and community development.
The Rolling trophy was won by Manav Sthali School but being the host school, the coveted Rolling Trophy was presented by the winning team Manav Sthali School, R-Block, to Bhatnagar International School, Paschim Vihar
The event concluded with a Vote of thanks, marking the end of a memorable celebration of knowledge and school spirit.
