Manav Sthali School Successfully Organizes “Brains and Games II” Event Focused on Holistic Wellness

Under the esteemed leadership of Director and Founder Principal, Mrs. Mamta V. Bhatnagar, Manav Sthali School proudly hosted the second edition of “Brains and Games” on October 4, 2024. Tailored for International Curriculum Schools, the event centered on the theme of Holistic Wellness, aiming to cultivate a harmonious development of mind, body, and spirit. This initiative encouraged participants to engage in activities that promote mental resilience, physical vitality, and emotional balance. The event saw enthusiastic participation from several schools – The British School, The Ardee School,Pathways amongst others,reflecting a shared commitment to holistic education and a well-rounded approach to learning.

Principal Mrs. Dipti A. Bhatnagar inspired students with her insightful address, emphasizing the importance of self-expression and collaboration in their personal and academic growth. Under her leadership, participants took part in a wide range of activities designed to enhance both mental and physical wellness, including a Show and Tell competition, Relay Races, Drawing and Singing Competitions, as well as Math and Geography Relay Races, culminating in the exciting DIY Race. Mrs. Bhatnagar’s vision fostered creativity and teamwork, while nurturing a spirit of healthy competition, encouraging students to explore their full potential in a supportive environment.

A panel of seven distinguished judges contributed to the event’s success. For the Show and Tell competition, Ms. Preeti Gautam (theatre practitioner, actor, and founder of Theatre & U) who also served as the Guest of Honour, Ms. Tanya Soni (Jolly phonics trainer), and Ms. Anuradha Gupta (Art educator) provided invaluable feedback. Mr. Kuvam Sethi (Alumni and singer) judged the Singing Competition, while Ms. Shweta Moorpana(Calligraphy artist) evaluated the Drawing Competition. In sports categories such as athletics, chess, table tennis, and skating, Mr. Surendra Lahoty(Chairman, Indus Global Sports Foundation National Instructor, FIDE (World Chess Federation)) provided expert guidance.

The event was meticulously organized by Ms. Rashmi, Ms. Madhu Kakkar, Ms. Mansha Pahuja, Ms. Manisha Sachdeva, and Mr. Prateek, along with their dedicated teams. Ms. Himrekha, Ms. Shalu Bajaj, and Ms. Nidhi Kapoor oversaw the certificates and trophies, ensuring that students’ achievements were properly recognized. Their collective efforts embodied the spirit of the day, reinforcing the value of building each other up through collaboration and supportive interactions.

In conclusion, “Brains and Games II” showcased the holistic growth of students, encouraging them to excel in both academic and creative domains. The well-curated activities not only stimulated intellectual curiosity but also promoted creativity, collaboration, and teamwork, leaving students motivated and energized as they departed from the event.

The event concluded with a Vote of thanks, marking the end of a memorable celebration of knowledge and school spirit.
