Manav Sthali School Commemorates Dussehra with a Spectacular ‘Ethnic Fiesta’ Focused on Wellness, Sustainability, and SDGs

Manav Sthali School celebrated the vibrant festival of Dussehra with grandeur, passion, and a deep commitment to promoting Wellness and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Wednesday, 9th October, 2024. School’s hallmark event, titled “Ethnic Fiesta,” aimed to educate not only the students but also the wider community on the values of good health, well-being, and sustainable living, with particular attention to SDG Goal 5: Gender Equality.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chairperson and Director and Founder Principal of Manav Sthali School, Mrs. Mamta V. Bhatnagar, who commended the students for their impeccable efforts in bringing such a meaningful performance to life.

The highlight of the event was a spectacular theatrical presentation performed by the talented students of Class XI, who brought to life the timeless story of Lord Rama’s victory over Ravana. The performance masterfully symbolized the eternal battle between Good and Evil, offering the audience a profound reflection on morality, justice, and the triumph of righteousness. However, in line with the School’s modern approach to education, this traditional narrative was creatively intertwined with contemporary values of mental health, wellness, and eco-consciousness.

Principal Ma’am, Mrs. Dipti A. Bhatnagar, delivered an impassioned address that left a lasting impact on the attendees. Speaking on the ongoing moral struggles we face in today’s world, she remarked, “The tussle between Ram and Ravana goes on within us every day in this Kalyug. We must ensure that the Ram within us wins.” Her words served as a powerful reminder that every individual faces a daily struggle between righteousness and temptation, and it is through conscious effort and integrity that we must strive to let the ‘Ram’ within us prevail.

Parents who came as audience praised the efforts of the students wholeheartedly and appreciated the school for inculcating the values in them.

The success of the event would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of the organizing committee, which comprised:
